First, I believe that the POSIX standards do NOT cover the standard C
functions; they simply refer to the ISO C standard for those. For
POSIX-specific functions like fork, yes they should. See www.iso.ch for
details on getting ISO standards. There is an ISO standard for POSIX; I think
it came from committee SC22/WG15.
